When you sign up, I’ll also collect the following information from you and use it to match up groups.
Name and email
Genre
What you’re writing (e.g., novel, poems, etc.)
Publishing goal(s)
Time of day you’d like to meet
Days of the week you could meet
How you’d like to meet (e.g., in-person, virtual)
My process:
Collect names of interested people (ongoing)
Organize the list based on genre and publishing goals first
Contact writers when I’ve found 4 - 6 who could be a match and confirm interest and availability
Organize and facilitate an initial meeting for the group to meet
After the meeting, reach out to writers individually and ask if they’d like to join the group
Notify the group via a group email and let them choose how to proceed
